Please pray for my friend Marty Swenson. She is going into the hospital on Wednesday to have a stem cell transplant. First they are going to kill off all her blood cells, then she will have the transplant. This will hopefully put her into a remission for her multiple myeloma. |

The Missouri River District office asks for prayers for Rev. Marvin Neubaurer, Falls City First UMC and Rulo Trinity UMC. His sister Janet Schwaneback died last night after a long illness in Genoa, Nebraska. She is survived by her husband and two grown children. This has been a long and difficult journey for Pastor Marvin and his family. Please include them in your prayers. Services will be announced at a later date. |

Please pray for my niece, Brenda Asche, and her young family. Brenda delivered twin girls on September 23, about 11 weeks early. Ava and Lydia are in the NICU at Methodist Hospital, each now weighing just under 3 lbs. Ava is doing very well but Lydia is having soe heart valve problems. Please pray for strength and improved health for the babies, as well as for Brenda as she and husband Greg balance life between home with their two year old Gillian and the hospital with the babies.
