Lent 2010 begins with an Ash Wednesday service February 17th. Join us at 7 p.m. to begin our Lenten journey together. Music will be provided by the Chancel Choir along with a message by Dr. Dan.
On the Wednesdays of Lent, Saint Paul's will again offer Lenten Luncheons in the chapel. Sign-up sheets will be available in the west hallway each Sunday. The program will include a presentation each Wednesday by one of the pastors and a great time of food and fellowship. The luncheons will begin Wednesday, February 24th and conclude during Holy Week on Wednesday, March 31st.
Our Holy Week offerings this year will help us take the journey into Jerusalem, to the cross, and experience the resurrection. A Cantata will be the centerpiece of our Palm Sunday celebration. The United Methodist Men will be serving a pancake breakfast that day. Worship services will be offered both Maundy Thursday, April 1st, and Good Friday, April 2nd. The traditional Easter services will be held at 8:30, 10:00 and 11:00 Sunday, April 4th. |
