For those who attend St. Paul's, opportunities in Christian Education abound. We welcome any child, age three years- 12th grade, who would like to attend Sunday School, as well as any adult who wishes to teach or learn more about our faith.
Currently, our Christian Education program includes weekly Sunday School from September-July. August is an "off month" used to restaff and restructure for fall. Classes meet at 9:45 in various rooms throughout the building. Two sets of curriculum materials are used for pre-school, elementary, and middle-school children. (Cokesbury's Rock Solid and One Room Sunday School.) High School students have the option of selecting a contmeporary issues and scripture class or a more traditional Bible Study.
A variety of adult classes are also available. This year (starting September 2008) Roger Schauss will lead a study of the book "The Pupose Driven Life". Perhaps one of the most lively and enjoyable activities in the area of Christian Education is Vacation Bible School. Traditionally, it is held Monday-Friday mornings from 9:00-11:30 for one week during the summer. Music, science, games, crafts, and Bible stories are all part of the excitement! Whether you are a looking for a place to plant the seeds of spiritual growth in your child's heart, or you love participating in lively discussions about the Bible's relevance in our world, St. Paul's has something to offer YOU! |
