Winds of Freedom Concert Rescheduled

The Winds of Freedom concert scheduled this Thursday, January 26, has been rescheduled to Tuesday, May 1 at 7 p.m. Officials with the USAF Heartland of America Band cited operational requirements that necessitated the date change.

Man of the Year Award Nominations

Do you know of someone who is deserving of the St. Paul's United Methodist Men's Man of the Year Award? If so, please submit your nomination to the church office, to one of our pastors, or to Charlie Walcutt, Paul Ebisch or Mel Morton by January 30. Your nomination needs to include a brief description of why the individual is deserving and how he has served our church, his family and the community. Anyone may nominate a candidate, but only St. Paul's UMM have voting privileges. Just a reminder that all men of St. Paul's are considered members of the UMM.

Valentine Boxes for Undergraduate College Students

A winter tradition at St. Paul's is to send care packages of stationery and snacks to our undergraduate college students who do not live at home. There are three ways to help: (1) notify Allie O'Connor by February 2 of the college/university, current address, and preferred e-mail address for your son or daughter; (2) bring any Amazon boxes (75/65 size) you may have to the Welcome Desk by January 29; and (3) consider contributing $15 to sponsor a box. Thank you for your help.

Valentine Dinner and Theater Production

altThe United Methodist Men's Valentine dinner and theater production is Saturday, February 4, at 5:30 p.m. This year's event will have a new venue, a buffet dinner at the church catered by Patricia's Catering followed by attending the Bellevue Little Theater's production of Neil Simon's comedy "Rumors." The meal and play are separate items and may be purchased in any combination. The cost is $16 per person for a 2-entree buffet and $12 per person for the play. The UMM purchased a group of 50 seats for the playhouse. Tickets are on sale in the west hallway. Don't delay as this is a popular event.
